Started in 2005 with five employees and a garage. Twenty-one years later we are around 70 people with work completed in 38 states, still run like the family business it started as.
Our story
Built job by job, handshake by handshake.
There was not one big moment that got us here. It has been 21 years of taking care of customers, taking on bigger challenges, and earning the next job.
A garage and five employees
Steve and Jennifer Coppenbarger started AAK with their own experience and a goal to build a company known for quality work.
The Jefferson Street shop
The work grew job by job and handshake by handshake. The first real shop gave us room to fabricate instead of subbing it out.
The Riddle Drive facility
An 20,000+ sq. ft. fabrication shop, multiple field crews, mobile welding, and crane capability.
The next generation
Still growing, without losing the family-business feel that got us here.

Why customers choose us
One contractor who can carry more of the project.
We handle a lot of a project in-house, from planning and fabrication through installation and field work. Our customers are not coordinating five different contractors to get one job done.
A large portion of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals. We stand behind our work with a one-year workmanship warranty, terms varying by project and scope. References available on request.
Safety
No deadline is more important than everybody going home safe.
Every AAK employee carries Stop Work Authority. If a task cannot be completed safely, it does not get performed until it can.
